Samia Nidal Naccache, PhD

Discipline Director, Routine Microbiology; Satellite Labs and Waived Testing, Labcorp

Dr. Naccache earned her PhD from the University at California, San Diego and completed postdoctoral fellowships in virology at The Scripps Research Institute, laboratory medicine at the University of California San Francisco, and in medical and public health microbiology at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Medical Microbiology (ABMM). She is also a board-certified medical technologist and public health microbiologist.

Dr. Naccache serves as the technical director for routine microbiology for Labcorp Seattle. Additionally, she is a co-discipline director for Routine Microbiology, and co-discipline director for satellite labs and waived testing at Labcorp. Her interests within routine and molecular microbiology include antimicrobial susceptibility testing and viral diagnostics.

She is a member of the American Society for Microbiology, the Association for Molecular Pathology, and the Infectious Diseases Society of America. She has written numerous articles for various publications. Visit her LinkedIn page.
