Dr. Albrecht earned his PhD in microbiology and molecular genetics from the University of California at Los Angeles. He also holds New York state certification of qualification in genetic testing and is licensed in California as a clinical genetics molecular biologist scientist.
Dr. Albrecht is the discipline director for Donor Testing at Labcorp with an interest in Molecular Infectious Disease. He is a member of the Association for the Advancement of Blood & Biotherapies and the Plasma Protein Therapeutics Association, and has authored or co-authored numerous articles, Visit Dr Albrecht’s LinkedIn page.
