Dr. D.P. Dash is a New York State Department of Health certified clinical Laboratory Director in Oncology (Molecular and Cellular Tumor Markers) and Genetics Testing (Molecular). He earned his PhD in genomics at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Queen’s University Belfast and a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education Teaching (PGCHET), also at Queen's University Belfast. Dr. Dash has over 30 years of leadership roles in healthcare and is a College of American Pathologist (CAP) Clinical Lab Inspector (Molecular) with expertise in overseeing high complexity CAP/CLIA certified clinical molecular diagnostic laboratories for cancer patients testing, clinical trials, biopharma services as clinical Lab Director and expertise on innovation, novel cutting edge technologies in developing clinical molecular diagnostic assays/products for patient care solutions as Scientific Director. He has co-authored nearly 100 abstracts, posters, articles, book chapters and peer-reviewed manuscripts.
