Dr. Icenhour graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and trained at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Duke University College of Medicine. Dr. Icenhour co-founded two biotechnology companies and joined Labcorp through acquisition of her clinical metagenomics testing company in 2021.
Dr. Icenhour serves as a discipline director of microbiome and specialty infectious disease at Labcorp. Other areas of specialty include esoteric microbiology, infectious disease, molecular genetics and genomics and molecular infectious disease.
