Labcorp’s MaterniT® 21 PLUS screens diverse prenatal patients

Labcorp's MaterniT® 21 PLUS enables prenatal cfDNA screening across all pregnant patient populations, including those with triplet and multiple gestation pregnancies. It is the only U.S.-based prenatal cfDNA screening test with this capability. A recent retrospective study evaluated the use of Labcorp's MaterniT® 21 PLUS in triplet pregnancies. Findings suggest that prenatal cfDNA screening with MaterniT® 21 PLUS in triplet pregnancies shows performance characteristics comparable to those observed in twin pregnancies.

The importance of early prenatal screening for aneuploidy and preeclampsia

Learn how early preeclampsia screening and the latest developments in prenatal cfDNA (NIPT) can help you improve maternal and perinatal outcomes.

Carrier screening: Providing valuable insights for you and your patients

With early insights and continuing advancements in treatment options, you can help your patients identify the risk of having a child with an inherited genetic disorder. Hear from subject matter experts and those with personal experience (including a genetic counselor and a mom of a child with spinal muscular atrophy) about how early carrier screening and genetic counseling can help patients prepare for their reproductive future.

Ask the expert: What your patients need to know about working with a genetic counselor

Preparing for a genetic counseling session can seem overwhelming for patients. We interviewed Michaela Mundt, MS, LCGC, a licensed genetic counselor at Labcorp, who answers common questions and provides helpful information for patients to help guide them through the genetic counseling process.

Two steps. One strong defense: HPV vaccine + routine screening
